Rabbit Allies of CT
Who We Are
Rabbit Allies of CT provides rabbit adoption and education services. Our goal is to help educate the public about the proper care of rabbits, including the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent the birth of thousands of unwanted animals. We also work to place abandoned or abused rabbits into good homes. Please join us on Facebook - Rabbit Allies CT
Adopting a Friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our rabbits, please
email us at
leave a message/text for a volunteer to return at (see #listed in each individual rabbit post) for more info (note, you may receive a generic message).
Pets in this rescue are available to meet by appointment only. We are not a shelter. We have all of our rescued pets in multiple private foster homes. Directions will be provided to the foster home caring for the animal you are interested in upon request if it is only a single rabbit you are interested in. Otherwise, we have all appropriate rabbits available in one single location if more than one is involved.
Everything for our rescue is paid entirely out of our own personal funds. We are an all-volunteer rescue and do not receive funds or grants, making it especially difficult to help all the rabbits we would like to. Costs include all medicals necessary to get them to an adoptable state, including spay/neutering at a cost greater than the adoption donation we receive. Other costs include food, hay, fresh vegetables, toys, gas, phone, lodging/petsitting if necessary, printing, advertising, housing and accessories, cleaning, etc. Even the very smallest donations mount up, a dollar here, five there. Other donations of time such as transportation to and from vets, shelters and other locations; picking up supplies, donations, etc; computer and technical help (social media assistance), writing/printing, phone calls, advocacy, etc, etc. For monetary assistance, you many click on the donation button here or call our vets directly with your credit card.
