News: The animals at the facility are always appreciative of your donated items. We have an ongoing need for food, blankets, flea & tick medications, and anything else that you feel may make the animals stay more pleasant.
Who We Are
The Regional Animal Control Facility serves the towns of Bozrah, Franklin, Lebanon, Lisbon & Sprague. We are committed to finding loving, permanent homes for the animals that come into the shelter.
Adopting a friend
DOGS: The Adoption fee for dogs is $50, which provides you with a voucher for spay/neuter, rabies and first distemper/parvo vaccines at most vets in Connecticut under the Animal Population Control Program. The fee for dogs that are already spayed or neutered is only $5.
CATS: CATS and KITTENS DO NOT FALL UNDER REGIONAL ANIMAL CONTROL, we work with a local rescue group, P.A.W.S. for them. Most of the available cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia and Aids, spayed or neutered, vet checked, up to date on vaccines and anything else that might have been necessary when they came to us needing help. A donation to P.A.W.S. is required when adopting a cat or kitten to help with the cost of their vet care and to enable P.A.W.S. to provide for the next ones that will come into our care. FOR INFORMATION ON CATS AND KITTENS, email Lydia@paws-ct.org or call 860-480-1104.
