Lebanon Animal Control is the municipal pound serving the town of Lebanon. We are committed to finding loving, permanent homes for the animals that come into the shelter.
Adopting a friend
The Adoption fee for dogs is $50, which provides you with a voucher for spay/neuter, rabies and first distemper/parvo vaccines at most vets in Connecticut under the Animal Population Control Program. The fee for dogs that are already spayed or neutered is only $5.
Cats and kittens do not fall under Lebanon Animal Control, we works with a local rescue group, P.A.W.S.--Pound Animals are Worth Saving for them. All of the available cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia and Aids, spayed or neutered, vet checked, up to date on vaccines and and anything else that might have been necessary when they came to us needing help. A donation to P.A.W.S. is required when adopting a cat or kitten to help with the cost of their vet care and to enable them to provide for the next ones that will come into our care. For information on cats and kittens, contact Lydia at Lydia@WyndhamNeedleworks.com, 860-974-3004 or Amy at amy1104@sbcglobal.net, 860-841-1312
