Ebony is a quiet, mellow kitty with incredibly soft fur. She is so sweet, but shy with people she doesn't know. She gets along great with other cats, but would probably be intimidated by young children. She would do best in a quiet adult household.

Who We Are

We are a non-profit organization based in Shelton, Connecticut. Mission Statement: To provide assistance for homeless cats that have been cast away and abandoned by their owners; and their offspring that were born in the wild and have never known an owner. This assistance will be including but not limited to: neutering and maintenance of feral cat colonies; socializing of feral kittens; placing adoptable cats into appropriate homes; and providing a permanent, comfortable sanctuary for those cats which are both unadoptable and unreleasable.

Adopting a friend

We work extremely hard to find the best match between pet and caretaker. We will be completely honest about our cats' personalities and behaviours, and pride ourselves on happy adoptions. Our cats come with a "lifetime guarantee" - they can come back to us at any time for any reason, always! Prospective adopters should be patient with the number of questions that we ask - it is of the utmost importance that a proper match is found both for the cat and the adoptive owner.

Come Visit Us!

Although it is our dream to some day have a facility of our own, we currently work out of our private homes. Please phone and leave a message (9AM-7PM only, please) or e-mail (any time!) to arrange an appointment to meet our available cats. Donations (tax-deductible) are desperately needed and can be mailed to the address below. We are also collecting "Paw Points" from Fresh Step brand kitty litter, which can be mailed to the same address.
