Who We Are

We are the Municipal Animal Control Facility for the Town of Watertown, CT.

Adopting a friend

The States Animal Population Control Program (APCP) provides low cost vaccination and sterilization benefits for any unsterilized dog or cat adopted from a Connecticut municipal impound facility. Once a pet has been selected, a $45 State adoption fee and a $5 Municipal fee is collected. An eligible owner will be issued a vaccination/ sterilization voucher, which must be taken with the pet to a participating veterinarian for a health evaluation and to schedule the sterilization procedure. ALL pets MUST be altered within 60 days of the adoption date in order to receive the benefits. Additional information is avaialable from your local Animal Control Officer.
