Shelter News:
Who We Are
Crepon Strays Inc. is a small rescue group located in Litchfield County. We primarily assist animals in need in the local shelters including the City of Waterbury shelter with spays/neuters, veterinary care when necessary and adoptions. We DO NOT have a shelter so any pet rescued by us must be placed in foster care or boarded at our expense. We operate strictly on donations received and we are a registered 501C3 organization. Our hours of operation vary according to volunteer availability. Messages can be left at 860-274-5650 and will be returned as soon as possible.
Adopting a friend
To adopt, an application must be completed with veterinary reference included. When the application is approved, the adopter is required to sign an adoption contract. The purpose of this contract is to assure all animals are returned to us if the adoption is not successful. We have the right to reclaim an animal if Crepon Strays, Inc. deems it necessary for the welfare of the pet. Adoption fees vary. All pets are spayed/neutered before they are available for adoption.
