Copper is a beautiful, energetic hound mix who is looking for a loving home. Copper is housebroken and good with other dogs. He is not good with cats. Please give this sweet guy a chance. Our adoption fee for Copper is $110. All of our pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption and up to date on their shots. Who We Are
ARF Colorado is a small, primarily volunteer limited intake rescue group dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for abandoned animals in and around our valley. We save about 100 animals per year.
We don't currently have a shelter, but we hope to soon. ARF will rescue animals and place them in foster homes. We are working towards opening our own shelter in the future in order to save so many of the animals that have no other options.
Our adoption fees for dogs are $175 for puppies, $200 for purebred dogs 3 years of age or younger, $150 for purebred dogs greater than three years old, and $110 for all mixed breed dogs. Our adoption fees for cats is $85 and $100 for kittens. Our dogs receive obedience training during their stay with us. We highly recommend you continue this process. Phone calls will be returned AFTER we receive an application. We keep these pages very current, so any animal you see here is most likely available. We are located about 3 hours west of Denver near Aspen, CO and will happily work with out of town adopters who meet all of our criteria.
You must fill out an application, speak to us and arrange an appointment to meet any animal. Unfortunately we cannot accomodate drop in visitors at this time because we have to arrange meeting with the pet's foster family.
