Doogan is a beautiful boy who has a few scars from his unhappy past. He has moved forward though and now loves his toys, people and other dogs. He is a very loving and loyal friend who be a wonderful addition to your family! Come play with him in our play yard!!

Who We Are
We are a no-kill dog shelter located at Anna Anderson's home. All our dogs are living outside with insulated dog houses and daily love and care. We try to save as many dogs in need as possible for our volunteer based shelter. We do have a large "neutral" play yard to get a better sense of a dogs personality. It is wonderful if you are looking for a buddy for your exsisting dog. We can go for a walk with a prospective dog then release them in the play yard to see if they truley have a connection. We are looking for loving and safe homes for the wonderful dogs we have rescued.
Adopting a friend
We have an adoption application which can be emailed and processed prior to an adoption. We also do a home inspection to verify a loving and safe home. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please email Darcy for further information at - anniesk9orphans@q.com

We are located at CR 214 in Durango, Colorado. We do appreciate appointments so we can spend adequate time with you, your family and any prospective friend you might be considering. The connection needs to be right for all parties involved and we are more than willing to let you "foster" the dog to make sure the fit is the right one. Please call us to get started!
