Our Mission
WE ARE ON INTAKE HOLD FROM MAY 1, 2021 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 1, 2021.
WE WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY ANIMALS IN DURING THIS TIME.
We are a non-profit, no-kill dog rescue in Colorado. Each dog resides in a foster home - we do not have a kennel or shelter. Since each dog resides in a loving foster home it helps us get to know each dog better and thus helps us place each dog in the most appropriate home.Â
We welcome mature-adult and senior dogs. Normally we only take dogs that are 7 and older, however, in special situations(special need dogs) we welcome younger dogs but that is not the norm. Our mission is to save senior dogs(and mature adult) that have lost their homes, whether owner surrenders or those in shelters.Â
We are a small organization and rely solely on donations from our supporters. We believe every dog deserves respect and a happy retirement home.Â
Adoption Policy
We are a foster-based dog rescue, that means each dog resides in a foster home and we do not have a kennel nor shelter. If you are interested in meeting a foster dog please email us at adopt@izzysplaceseniordogrescue.org
