Homeless Pets say "THANK-YOU!"
These two young men recently ran a lemonade stand. They decided to donate a portion of their profit to animals in need. The kitties in foster care want to thank them for their kind donation! How heart-warming to see such compassion in our community's children!! Thanks to Sam and Chris!!

I adopted your pet today...
The one you left at the pound;
The one you had for ten months/years
And no longer wanted around.
******
I adopted your pet today...
Did you know that s/he's lost weight?
Did you know s/he's scared and depressed
And seems to have lost all faith?
******
I adopted your pet today...
S/He had fleas and a little cold;
Guess you don't care what shape s/he's in
You abandoned her/him I am told.
******
I adopted your pet today...
Were you having a baby or moving away?
Did you suddenly develop allergies,
Or was there NO reason s/he couldn't stay
******
I adopted your pet today...
S/He doesn't play or even eat much;
I guess s/he's very sad inside and
It'll take time for her/him to trust.
******
I adopted your pet today...
And here s/he is going to stay;
S/He's found her/his FOREVER home
And a warm bed in which to lay.
******
I adopted your pet today...
And shall give her/him all that s/he will need
Patience, love, and security,
So s/he can forget your selfish deed.

IN MEMORY OF RESCUERS AT THE BRIDGE
In Memory- Linda Fox of Ignacio for all the kind deeds and help...we won't forget your kindnesses.
In Memory of Patty Taylor, Nebraska Rescuer, and Susanne Milsaps, Utah rescuer
Dr. Linda Grayson was truly a friend to the homeless, abused and neglected. She has sadly passed away (7-06) after a long and valiant struggle with cancer. She was an inspiration to every one who knew her. She touched many lives with her compassion. She will be missed...
Who We Are
We are a group of people who have come together to help the animals in the area in the greatest need. They are animals from high-kill "shelters" who have been placed in foster care and are looking for permanent homes. We are NOT a shelter, but a group of concerned individuals.
Adopting a friend
There are no adoption fees but donations are accepted. We ask only to be reimbursed via donation for regular care and medical expenses required by the animals
