Adopting
To adopt one of the Malamutes, simply go to the correct web site and fill out an application online. One of the volunteers will get back with you for a phone interview within 48-72 hrs. After the initial phone interview, a home visit may be requested. This is to insure all our dogs receive appropriate homes. We will look at your living arrangement, fencing, and interview your family members.Alaskan Malamutes are wonderful dogs but they are often misunderstood and sometimes that is why they end up in shelters and rescues. We educate all potential owners on the necessities of owning a Malamute, the pro's and con's of the breed, and breed facts.
Upon an interview with you, we often try to match you with one of our Malamutes, to ensure that you and your chosen dog are compatible. Each adoptee must sign a contract. Our contracts are specific in how the rescue dog is to be treated and handled.
