This the one and only Dakota. She has had a very rough start for only being a little over a year. She was originally adopted from a shelter when she was a tiny puppy. She was not socialized well, abused, and given back and abandoned because their child was allergic to her. Well that is the best thing that could have happened because now she is in a loving foster home teaching her what it means to be loved. She is a special needs girl though. She has all the love in the world to give but was given a bum draw in the genetic department. She already has had one knee surgery and was born with bad hips, and her other knee is bad as well but this does stop her from playing rough with her brother and sisters. We have put her on glucosamine and it has helped very well. No worries though because the rescue will give you an allowance towards any surgery she may need in the future. We are looking for a family that can look pass her problems and love her for the fantastic dog she is.
