Our Featured Pet...
Tinkerbell - a 10 month old Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix that was nearly euthanized because she was so scared in the shelter. She still is a bit timid if you reach for her but if you are sitting down, she wants nothing more than to sit in your lap! She is an absolute love that is learning that she is a princess and deserves to be treated as such.
Tinkerbell went to her forever home and we continue to receive wonderful updates. CONGRATS Tinkerbell!!!

Who We Are
We are a private, in-home rescue that started basically to offer a place for small mixed breed dogs to find a second chance at finding a home. Purebreed rescues are wonderful and do a great deal of work but there are very few rescues that will accept mixed breeds, we decided we needed to do something because there is no reason that a wonderful adoptable dog should be euthanized just because it is a mixed breed. We do our best to place the dogs based on the needs of the dogs and we keep operating costs low by doing everything out of our home.
Adopting a friend
We do require an adoption application and there will be an adoption contract before placement. We do require a meeting with the dog to ensure that the dog and all the family members - including other dogs - get along with each other before placement. All animals adopted from us are spayed or neutered to help prevent further animal overpopulation - so please don't ask us for a breeding animal.
