Our non-profit thrift shop, "For Pets' Sake" is located at 203 N. Main Street in Breckenridge! Look for the bright yellow sign on the green building next to the Wellington parking lot. We're located downstairs, and our entrance is in the back of the building. For Pets' Sake features gently used clothing, linens, and housewares for humans. Come visit us and help support homeless pets! Our hours are Mon. - Fri. 12-5 and Sat. 10:30 - 5.
Who We Are
We operate through foster homes in the Summit County area. Our mission is to to provide lifetime care for animals needing a place to live happily and comfortably for the rest of their lives; to provide rescue, adoption services, and behavioral training for homeless pets; to provide educational programs promoting compassion and kindness towards animals, responsible pet guardianship, and the importance of spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation; and to work towards a nationwide goal of ensuring a happy, healthy home for every pet.

To foster or adopt a pet from Animal Rescue of the Rockies, please call or email us and we will forward our application form to you. We conduct home visits and interviews before placing any of our pets to ensure a happy outcome for all.
