GREAT NEWS! Too Shy and Echo have been adopted into a wonderful new home at last! They are finally happy and carefree, being well loved and enjoying every moment of their new life! It goes to show that with time and patience, there is a great home for all pets, even if it takes longer than we'd like to find it!

Our new non-profit thrift shop, "For Pets' Sake" is now open on Main Street in Breckenridge! We feature gently used clothing, linens, and housewares for humans. Stop by and browse at 203 N. Main Street - entrance is in the back - located across Extreme Pizza, downstairs below ERA Real Estate. Open 7 days a week - 12-4 Sun-Fri and 10-5 Sat.
Who We Are
We operate through foster homes in the Summit County area. Our mission is to to provide lifetime care for animals needing a place to live happily and comfortably for the rest of their lives; to provide rescue, adoption services, and behavioral training for homeless pets; to provide educational programs promoting compassion and kindness towards animals, responsible pet guardianship, and the importance of spay/neuter to prevent pet overpopulation; and to work towards a nationwide goal of ensuring a happy, healthy home for every pet.

To foster or adopt a pet from Animal Rescue of the Rockies, please call or email us and we will forward our application form to you. We conduct home visits and interviews before placing any of our pets to ensure a happy outcome for all.
