Our pet of the month, introducing...Lilly is approximately 9 yrs old and just about the sweetest dog I have ever fostered. She has been spayed and fully vetted. she is very healthy. She is housebroken and never had an accident in the house. She is hearing challenged and has cataracts, BUT, she doesn't let that hold her down. She hears us when we talk louder and sees pretty good when the lights are on. She loves to go on walks and she takes the lead on a flexi lead, she is fearless. Colorado/Wyoming Vizsla Rescue Group, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing the Vizsla in need and placing it into its forever home. Our group is made up of volunteers who love the breed and whose purpose is to foster, evaluate, rehabilitate, and find homes for the rescued Vizsla. We also try to educate the public about the breed. Our group functions solely on donations which don't always cover expenses on medical bills on some dogs. We are an independent, 501c3 non-profit organization, so your donation is tax deductible.
Anyone wishing to adopt one of our rescues must visit our web site at www.coloradovizsla.org and complete an adoption application. After the application has been reviewed, a home visit will be scheduled. When the adoption is approved an adoption contract will be signed. All dogs placed will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots, heart worm tested, fecal tested and be given a full health evaluation.
