Loma Cat House
Our Featured Pet...
Goddess Athena
My head is not in the clouds! I’m a down to earth feline with all four feet firmly planted on terra firma! Besides who wants to put up with all those hormonal Greek Gods anyhow, I rather find my heaven on earth with a loving family. I’m a cutie that just wants to please. I’m soooo small and sweet. Who would have thought I would be the Goddess of War. Nothing is further from the truth. So ride your chariot of fire down here and we can ascend to Mount Olympic.

Who We Are
Loma Cat House is a feline rescue facility, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization. We are fully state licensed shelter with a no-kill policy. We rescue orphaned, displaced, injured and abandoned kitties and have them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and medically cared for as required. We offer the kitties for adoption to RESPONSIBLE HOMES ONLY. We believe every cat has the right to a safe and loving home, regardless of age, appearance, or chronic, but manageable health problems.
If you are not in a position to adopt a kitty, tax deductible donations are gratefully accepted. We are always in need of soft washable bedding. If your baby is now toddling, pass along those receiving blankets. Changing colors in your bathroom? We'd love to have your old bath rugs and towels.
Scoopable litter and canned cat food make wonderful contributions as well. The better we take care of the kitties, the healthier and more fun they are.

Adopting a friend
To adopt, call 970-245-0769. We can help you decide what personality traits you are looking for in a cat. . This is an important decision for you and especially for the cat. If you decide to adopt after thinking it over, you should return with a proper cat carrier and the adoption fee (a modest $50 for cats who have been spayed/neutered and have their shots and $50 for kittens who do have their first shots which includes a nueter/spay coupon with one of our participating veteranarians). Those prices obviously do not cover our costs, but our main goal is to place the kitties in good homes. All the kitties available for adoption will soon be listed and pictured on this web site. We ask that any adoptive home be safe and loving and that required medical attention be provided and we do have a basic application you must fill out.
