This a female Green Iguana named "Pumpkin". He is a good eater and needs a variety of dark leafy greens and the occasional fruit. You can supplement him with Iguana pellets.

News
We teach at Pikes Peak Community College in the zoo class where it has been very successful and the students and teacher are asking us back on a regular basis. Check out our newly revamped webpage at marrsturtle.com.
We are going to be doing the all the libraries in Colorado Springs as well as Castle Pines Village, Castle Rock, Co open house on July 4th, 2009. We also do birthday parties and educational programs in schools, churches, youth groups and special events. We invite you to come see us. We will also be at the Downtown Aquariuim this summer 2009.
Our hopes
We are not funded by grants or any other entity so, your donations are GREATLY appreciated. We are trying to raise funds to allow us to develop Turtle Town this summer 2010. We are also hoping to enlarge our area for our educational programs and housing for our animals.
Who We Are
We are a federal 501(c)3 and state recognized non-profit, shelter and sanctuary. We are not funded by grants or any other entity so, your DONATIONS are greatly appreciated. We look deligently for the proper home for all of our adoptable animals. However, if we cannot find a suitable home for our animals, they remain in our care.

Other services
Native species removal/relocation such as snakes and turtles, private educational programs, instructional information on the habitat and care requirements of your new reptile/amphibian. We are also offering adoption of Tarantulas, Scorpions, and other invertebrates.
We also relocate venomous reptiles such as rattlesnakes.
