Who We Are
We are a Western Colorado non-profit corporation based in the Delta County and Grand Junction area. Our mission is to take in abandoned, lost, and unwanted Shelties and find them new, loving homes. All Shelties adopted through WCSR are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and given preventative. Adoption fees are requested to help offset the cost of the animal. No administration fees are taken from the adoption fee. The fees vary from $50.00 to $300.00. These monies are not intended to make a profit nor do they normally cover all the expenses that is put into the dog. They are merely requested to help offset the cost to WCSR. Our Shelties are cared for in loving volunteer foster homes while waiting to be adopted. Donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support !Adopting a friend

The application is found under shelties available. You may also email Judy Baril at therebshelties@sopris.net for an on line application. We do not adopt our rescue shelties out of the state of Colorado.Come Visit Us!
