Adopting a friend

We make every effort to ensure that each animal offered for adoption is the kind of pet you would want for your family. It is hard to guarantee that each animal is perfect but the animals can be wonderful with love and proper care. Only safe, loving, permanent homes are sought for the animals. We want adopters to take pet ownership seriously. If you are considering a new pet for life, please consider the homeless animals at Animal Services. During the year we have a daily average of 55 dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and sometimes rabbits and other assorted pets impounded at the shelter. Keep checking the shelter for animals that become available but are adopted or transferred to another agency before we can get their picture posted.
