Adopting a friend
The cost of adopting a dog or puppy is $70 Includes spay/nueter, shots and a vet check. Cats or Kittens is $40 Includes spay/nueter, shots and a vet check. All animals adopted must be spayed/nuetered. Large Breed dogs will cost more due to thier size and how much it costs to fix them. Generally it will be $10-30 more.

The Shelter is located at 30227 W. 6th. Ave. in the Industrial Park in North La Junta, behind Century-tel. If you don't know were that is Call (719)-384-0347 for more info. From Pueblo take Hwy. 50 east to La Junta, it is about an hour drive. Follow the Hwy. through town until you get to a bridge going across Hwy., turn right on to Bradish before going under bridge. At the stop sign turn left on to 3rd. St. at this stop sign turn left and go over the bridge and follow road 3-5 miles. You will see a Rodeo grounds on your right and turn right there. Follow road around and go past the golf course, there will be a Cuntury-Tel building on your left, turn left on 6th. Ave. The Shelter is the big Red and White Building.
Our hours are Monday-Friday 3:30P.M.-5:30P.M. And Saterdays 10A.M.-noon Closed Sundays & Holidays
