Saturday, December 3rd is our annual Holiday Open House. Stop by the shelter between the hours of 10am and 3pm to enjoy holiday treats, attend a pet first aid work shop, have your pets picture taken with Santa and much more! The Holiday open house is also a great opportunity to sponsor an animal in honor of a loved one for the holidays! We hope to see you there.
Who We Are
Woods Humane Society is a private nonprofit organization that has been servicing the homeless animals of the San Luis Obispo county since 1955. The Society is a limitted admissions facility, accepting only owner relinquished cats and dogs for adoption.
Feline adoptions include: Spay/Neuter, Microchip & Registration, FeLV/FIV Test (4 months and older), Distemper Vaccination, Collar & Tag, Cat Carrier, Free Vet Health Exam, and one Complimentary Bag of Hill's Science Diet.
Canine adoptions include: Spay/Neuter, Microchip & Registration, Distemper/Rabies/Kennel Cough Vaccinations, County Lisence, Collar & Tag, Leash, Free Vet Health Exam, and one Complimentary Bag of Hill's Science Diet.
All adoptions stop one hour before close.

From HWY 1 turn on to Kansas Avenue, make a left at Oklahoma Avenue, the shelter is located at the end of the road, past the Sheriff's Department and Animal Services.
