News
ADOPTION EVENT: Saturday, May 18, 2013, 11am - 4pm. 3368 Governor Dr., Suite F, San Diego, CA 92122. Look for us to the right of Sprouts, behind the post office! We will have adoptable animals as well as cages and supplies for sale. Please contact us several days prior to event to inquire about meeting specific animals. We are only able to bring a limited number of animals with us.
If you are considering adopting, please bring an appropriate carrier to safely and securely transport your new pets home.
Adopting A Friend
Contact us by email or by telephone for pre-screening. After completing pre-screening, we will set up an appt. for you to meet the animal, either at one of our events, or an agreed upon location. An Adoption Contract will be completed at that time.
Reminder: If you adopted your pet from Wee Companions, and for any reason can no longer care for it, you are contractually obligated to return it to us. This is one of the points that is covered in all Adoption Contracts.
Who We Are
Wee Companions Small Animal Adoption, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)
| Our specialty is small furry exotics including, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, mice and rabbits. Wee Companions has been rescuing small animals since 1998. In 2011, we served more animals in need than any previous year, taking in nearly 800 animals. This is quite a feat when you realize that we are a volunteer-based organization that is operated out of individual homes. Our funding comes from the generosity of supporters like you, we receive no government monies. |
Come Visit Us
We are not a public facility. Our animals are housed in a variety of private foster homes throughout San Diego County. Please email or call us to arrange to meet adoptable animals.
