Our Featured Pet...

Cassie, a 4 yr. old rottweiler is our featured pet. She is in desperate need of a home. She is a loyal and gentle dog, and would make a really good pet. She was rescued from an abusive home, so she is not very tolerant of men. We recommend that Cassie goes to a good home with women and children. She loves children and she gets along well with other dogs. She just needs some tender, loving care, and a good home to spend the rest of her life in.

Who We Are
Federally licensed as a nonprofit organization, Saint Martin's was founded in the summer of 1998 by Sky Valencia and Mimi Valencia. Saint Martin's is committed to improving the quality of life for pet owners and their companion animals.
As a bilingual organization, Saint Martin's is reaching out to the Hispanic community of Los Angeles.* We believe that if our community were provided with more information and resources regarding animal welfare, the positive response would achieve dramatic results. With more involvement on the part of the people, we know that the quality of life for companion animals in Los Angeles and surrounding areas will be measurably improved.
Through a number of education programs Saint Martin's is enlightening families regarding the laws and proper care and treatment of companion animals. Some of these programs are specifically tailored to inspire and motivate school age children such as the Saint Marteen's drama group, local teens who perform for students in the Los Angeles area, Another successful program had been Saint Martin's Church Outreach program which addresses the community each week regarding animal issues.
By continuing and expanding Saint Martin's programs, we believe the number of animals on the streets and in shelters will be reduced, as well the number of violent or abusive acts related to animals.
Saint Martin's also works with other organizations to promote a Vegan lifestyle. We feel that this kind of lifestyle will lead to better health, a better life and a better environment while improving the treatment of animals
* Although our organization is targeted to the Hispanic community, all calls for assistance, regardless of nationality, will be treated with the same professional concern and response.
