Who We Are
The dogs and cats were used to teach veterinarians, veterinary students, and veterinary technicians basic clinical skills such as ultrasound, radiology, physical examination and orthopedic examination. UC Davis acquired these animals from local shelters at the beginning of Fall quarter 2010. Our animals are available for viewing by appointment ONLY. Please contact Jennifer Child to set up an appointment, we are NOT a public facility so please do not expect to be able to "drop in". All dogs and cats are available to approved homes at no fee. All dogs and cats listed are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines and heartworm treatment, microchiped and on flea control. All dogs have been heartworm tested and all cats have been FELV/FIV tested negative. We are an adopt out only facility. Please note that we that we are not a pet adoption agency. We cannot accept pets from private homes.
