City of Shasta Lake is a small city shelter with only 10 dog kennels and
9 cat cages. Our adorable, adoptable animals are waiting for you to take them home ! ! ! Please come by for a visit.

Shelter hours are 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday, and 8:00 AM to12:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The City of Shasta Lake Shelter is north of Redding on I - 5. Continue north past Redding to exit 684 (Pine Grove Ave exit). Head west on Pine Grove Ave for 2 miles, then turn left on Ashby Road. The shelter is the first building on the left side of Ashby Rd., about 1 block.
