Our Featured Pets... Sassy & Nayla

Sweet petite momma and her sight-impared baby need a home!

SASSY and NAYLA

Sassy and Nayla are momma and baby! Somebody had cropped one ear on baby Nayla (it looks like a pair of scissors) and poked one eye out - I think she wriggled while they were cutting and they slipped and got her eye :( She is special needs now because she has 'depth perception' issues. She can now walk steps and jump up on the bed. Nayla is about 4 to 5 months now, and she is amazing. Her spirit and energy are also perfect, she is a happy grounded wonderful puppy, totally housetrained, loves playing with all doggies, is good with cats, kids...

The mommy is Sassy. She is only about 30-35lbs, is housetrained, great with kids, other doggies, and is a fun loving, selfless mommy. Sassy is sooo happy and sweet and obedient, she is only about 2 or 3 years old, her energy is excellent, and she can't wait to be friends with everyone.

Who We Are

Diamonds in the Ruff is a registered non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs (all breeds). Our main focus is dogs in the LA area (whether homeless or shelter dogs), although we make it a priority to help all dogs in need!

Homeowners or Renters Insurance
Dori Einhorn with Farmers Insurance will be happy to help pit bull owners get homeowners or renters insurance. You will not be discriminated against just because one of your kids is a pit bull (provided you don't have a "documented" history of biting). Mention Diamonds in the Ruff and for every policy Dori writes, she will dontate $20 to our rescue. Adopting a Friend

To adopt a pet from Diamonds in the Ruff, you will be required to fill out an adoption questionnaire and allow a home check. There is a non-refundable adoption fee for each pet, which covers his/her spay or neuter, microchip, rabies (if old enough), and all vaccinations up to date. Adoption fees START at $150.
