How You Can Find A New Home For Your Pet

If you have a pet that you need to place, there are two things that you can do:
1) check the shelter list and call to see if they are accepting pets;
2) post a classified ad.
Please be patient, there are a lot of organizations that are trying to save lives.
Situations can change on a daily basis and so can acceptance policies.
Please be aware that most shelters are kill facilities and that they can have high euthanization rates.
Good Luck!

How I Can Help You Find A Home For Your Cat/Kitten

I would be glad to help you find a new home for your cat/kitten. Since I run my rescue out of my home, it isn't possible for me to take in all of the pets that I try to find homes for. I don't always know of anyone that would be able to take the cat/kitten to foster. The way my program works is that you would need to continue caring for the cat/kitten until we are able to find a new home. You can send me pictures and information about the cat/kitten via email and I can post them on my Petfinder website. The information that I need is age, sex, spayed/neutered, shots, personality, special needs, indoor/outdoor, etc. All of the pets that I find homes for must be spayed/neutered and be current on vaccinations. I also like to meet the pet so that I can see their personality. Please keep in mind that finding a new home can take anywhere from one week to several months. It takes longer to find homes for cats over six months old than it does for kittens. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me either by phone or email.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in adopting one of my cats/kittens, please call the number listed or contact me via email.
The adoption fee is $100 which includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment.
If you don't see anyone that you are interested in, I recommend:
1) searching the pet listing;
2) searching the classified ads;
3) adopting from a shelter, which saves a life.
Please be patient, there are a lot of organizations that are trying to save lives by placing pets in loving homes.
Situations can change on a daily basis.
You are looking for a life-long friend and they will be worth the wait!
Good Luck!
