We try to make the adoption of your perfect pet as easy as possible
If you see a cat or dog on our list of adoptable pets that you are interested in please feel free to fill out a Pre-Adoption Form, which you can find at the top of this page, and then e-mail it to Diane. We do NOT have a facility where you can come to meet them all. We have most in individual foster homes throughout the whole Bay area and Phoenix.
Diane's e-mail address is Diane@TARescue.com and she can be reached by phone at (925) 209-6480 or (623) 587-9119. She has a lot of information about the dogs and cats we have in foster care and she may also refer you directly to the foster parent of the dog or cat.
As previously stated, you can access the pre-adoption form at the top of this page. Once the form is submitted and approved by Tuffie's Animal Rescue, a visit will be arranged. That visit could take place at the foster home or your home or you could meet at an adoption clinic. Our adoption donations are normally $125 for kittens, $100 for adult cats, $250 for small dogs and puppies and $200 for larger dogs.
The ideal final outcome is the perfect, forever home for these very deserving pets!

Tuffie’s Animal Rescue is in URGENT NEED OF FOSTER HOMES
If you HAVE ever thought about fostering, now would be the time to give it a try! Remember, fostering is a “win/win” situation. You are not making a permanent life long commitment to a pet but you are helping save lives. And you just might find the perfect canine or feline companion for you and your family!
We have dogs and cats of all ages who need your help. We pay vet bills and can provide crates and provide food if necessary. It is certainly a very rewarding experience for most people who do it.
If you are unable to actually foster for us but would like to contribute toward our boarding costs or sponsor a particular dog, we would be eternally grateful. We are a non-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible. We also take donations of pet food, blankets, towels, crates, etc.
If you join us at our adoption clinic you can talk to Diane directly about our foster program. Or feel free to contact her at (925) 209-6480 or (623) 587-9119 or by e-mail at Diane@TARescue.com for information about the dogs and kitties that we are looking for placements for. I'm sure there is one that would be a match for you.
If you are able to foster any of these dogs who have only days to live, please contact Diane immediately at (925) 209-6480 or (623) 587-9119. There are currently countless chihuahuas and other small dogs available on this site as well as puppies and other young dogs. We can arrange to transport them near you. If you are interested in helping out a kitty, there are just as many of them if not more, who are euthanized daily. Please call to discuss your interests.
