Our featured pet
Hello there ... my name is Hanna. I am a 6 year plus sheperd mix. My current weight is 34 lbs. I was surrendered by my owner that was no longer able to care for me. I love visiting local schools and going to social engagements with the public. I love to go for walks and enjoy a belly rub. I get along with other dogs and love kitties. I would be a great dog for any household including homes with children. If you are interested please call the Kings SPCA!
Donations Needed
We are desperately in need of funds to replace our dog kennels and to build an exercise/play area for our dogs. You generosity could make a huge difference in the quality of life for the homeless animals who depend on us for shelter. Donations gratefully accepted year round.
PetSmart Adoption Days
Come visit our adoptable cats at the Hanford PetSmart store every Day during store hours. PetSmart also provides in-store display cages to house some of adoptable cats.

Who We Are
Kings S.P.C.A is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist with and provide for the health and welfare of animals who have been abused, injured and abandoned; to provide a safe haven for the animals entrusted to our care, providing them shelter for as long as possible to maximize their chances of finding a forever home; to facilitate the provision of low-cost spay/neuter services to the community and to educate the community about the necessity of spaying/neutering all pets; to refer cruelty and neglect complaints to Kings County Animal Control; to promote public awareness of the benefits of responsible pet ownership, and to promote the philosophy that all living creatures deserve ethical consideration, protection and respect from mankind.
Adopting a friend
In order to adopt a pet from Kings S.P.C.A. you must first fill out an adoption application. This is to let us know all about you and the pets you may already have. By doing so, we can make sure that the right pet is placed with your family. After an application has been filled out and you have selected your pet, you will be asked to sign an adoption contract. This contract states that you are willing to properly care for your new pet and abide by animal laws, both legal and ethical. You will also be asked to pay an adoption fee and a spay/neuter fee. Although this may sound like a lot, it is necessary for the protection of your pet and provides the financial assistance necessary for our continued operation.
