POKO AND PONCHO!
Poko and Poncho are 2 brothers that were born in the rescue on 12/29/10. They are totally up to date on all vaccines and are neutered.They are very close and because they both have issues, they need to stay together. They were not abused as puppies, because they have been with me the whole time. There was another puppy in with them that was picking on them. Yet they are very dog friendly but skiddish with people. Go figure! Poko is the smooth coat one. He is friendly, but absolutely will not let anyone pick him up, except for me. Poncho can be picked up if you can catch him. That is not hard to do if you corner him, he will lie down, but he will not come to you. He is just starting to come to me. They are very dog friendly and are great about using the doggy door. It is going to take someone with alot of patience and is willing to work with them. That are good with me so I know they can be the same with someone else. Poko is about 24 pounds full grown and Poncho is about 18.The adoption fee for both of them is $150, which is a great deal. Who We Are
Pups Rescue technically started in 2005, when it became a non-profit organization (501c3). It is run by one person, myself, who takes the responsiblity for rescuing the pups, caring for them and the cost to do all this. I began rescuing in the year 2000 as a volunteer with other rescue groups. In total I have rescued and found homes for over 3000 puppies. I am dedicated to saving the lives of puppies, that are left to perish from the acts of irresponsible pet owners. Thousands of animals are killed every year, and I am trying in some small way to save the lives of all I can.
