Golden Gate Gordon Setter Club is a small group of dedicated Gordon Setter owners, exhibitors & breeders who live primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area & the upper & lower Sacramento Valley. We are not a shelter and our dogs are not in any danger of being euthanized. We rescue only purebred Gordon Setters primarily in Northern California. Most of our dogs are picked up from shelters in this area. Occasionally we accept owner surrendered purebred Gordon Setters into our program whom have met our criteria.
All Gordon Setters available for adoption through Golden Gate Gordon Setter Club Rescue are spayed or neutered, current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative & microchipped.
Adoptions are made from our waiting list. Each prospective new owner is asked to fill out our Adoption Application, provide references & have a home visit. To receive an Adoption Application please use the email contact below and indicate in the subject line: Rescue.
