We are a volunteer based, national nonprofit 501 (c)3 foundation. We now have our own property in Acton, CA! Our work involves educating the public and working with city officials to end pet over-population, as well as, working on a national level to put an end to dog fighting. In the Southern CA area, we walk the city shelters and find abandoned homeless pets on death row, giving them a second chance at a loving, permanent home. We are one of the few rescue groups that will take mothers and newborns, from one week of age to 5 weeks, which are slated for an immediate death sentence. Shelters are not designed to raise puppies and newborns can not survive the amount of disease running through the cold cement floors. We give all of our dogs proper medical care, proper nutritional food, training, grooming, socialization, and a loving home where they may heal their emotional and physical wounds. All of this may take up to a year, if need be, and is necessary for them to find new loving homes for life! We rely on your generous donations, every dollar makes a difference, to help us save lives! All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
In order to maintain a relationship with our adoptable animals, we only adopt in the Southern California area. If you live somewhere other than Southern California, we encourage you to visit your local shelter and contact rescue groups in your area. The adoption process requires a loving responsible home. Our dogs are raised to be family pets, who sleep indoors, love to travel, have fun and are expected to be part of your family. Our wellness center provides the opportunity for our adoptable friends to undergo both physical and mental rehabilitation. In addition, to exercise both their minds and their bodies our furry friends participate in obedience and agility training. This therapeutic environment allows us to ensure a happy, healthy furry friend to complete your life. If you feel you are qualified, we encourage you to inquire about any one of our great dogs. We will meet with you and when both parties feel they've made the right connection, we begin the adoption process. Our tax deductible adoption fee covers medical costs such as vaccinations, spay or neutering (if not already) micro chipping, de-worming, feeding, training and more. We deliver each dog personally, and conduct a home check with each adoption. We look forward to hearing from you! You may meet any of our adoptable friends by setting up an appointment or visiting us at our adoption events!
