Who We Are

Lodi Cat Connection is an all volunteer, non-profit organization offering spay/neuter assistance for cats in Lodi, California. Our mission is to stop cat overpopulation in Lodi by reducing the number of unwanted cats & kittens being put to death at local shelters. Our goal is "No More Homeless Cats" !
We are working to reduce feral cat populations and their resulting litters of kittens in our community through a humane trap/neuter/release program offering free trap loans and spay/neuter for feral cats and $10 spay/neuter for cats of low income caretakers through our "Fix-a-Feline" Program. We often have cats for adoption and promote adoptions from rescues & shelters.

Adopting a Friend

Our adoptable cats come from our local shelters and the streets and homes of the central California valley around us
Our adoption fee is $75 for a cat & $85 for a kitten (6 mths or less) and includes all of the following:
* Spaying or Neutering (already done)
* Basic Vaccinations (3 in 1) & sometimes Rabies
* Feline Leukemia(FELV) and FIV testing
* Deworming
* Topical Flea Preventative (Advantage or Frontline)
* Complimentary Veterinary Office Exam
* Post- Adoption Counseling
*

Please be aware that we DO NOT adopt to homes that plan on keeping their cats totally outside or intend to mutilate their cat by declawing. We do sometimes have previously declawed cats in need of good homes and we often have unsocialized (feral or semi-feral) cats(already neutered, vaccinated against Rabies and ear-tipped for identification) who need to be relocated for their own safety and can be placed in responsible ranch, stable or barn homes as mousers. These cats are not listed on our petlist and no adoption fee is requested, however a contract must be signed. Safe cages may be loaned out for the wild cat's adjustment period. These cats are very useful for rodent control - as the old saying goes "Better to feed one cat than many mice!"

**ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE AND MEETING WITH ADOPTION COUNSELOR REQUIRED**
For your convenience, an online adoption questionaire can be found on our website homepage at lodicatconnection.org .

If you do not live in or near our area; please check a shelter/rescue group near your home..there is a "purr-fect" friend waiting there for you!

We make every effort to adopt out healthy, well adjusted pets and we will ALWAYS take a cat back into our care should an adoption not work to everyone's satisfaction.

Volunteering and Donations

Mobile Adoptions - Come Visit Our Kitties!

We do not have a shelter facility, so all of our cats are in rescue/foster homes.
