Adopting A Friend

Thank you for your interest in adopting a shelter animal! By choosing adoption, not only If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets, but you are also saving a life. It is best to come in, find an animal you like and apply in person as either way we will need you to come in.

Who We Are

Santa Maria Valley Humane Society

We are a "NO KILL" Humane Society and non-profit organization dedicated to placing homeless dogs and cats in permanent, loving homes and assisting in any way we can to remove barriers to responsible pet ownership.

Come Visit Us

We are open to view animals, schedule spay/neuter appointments, make a donation, or to answer your phone calls Monday - Friday 10 am - 5 pm, and Saturdays from 10 - 4 pm. We are closed on major holidays but call to confirm.

We are located between Stowell Road and Main Street at 751 Black Road on the west side of town.
