Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California (BHRSC) offers sanctuary, healing and forever families to distressed, abandoned, injured or homeless hounds.
We work to raise funds to save as many hounds as possible and constantly thrive to grow our network of volunteers and foster homes.
BHRSC has found forever homes for 13 hounds since January 2012. With the down economy many families are losing their homes and having to relinquish their hounds. Shelters are full and rescues across the country are suffering. Many are overflowing and unable to take in hounds while others are closing their doors completely.
