WHO WE ARE

AUSSIE HAVEN is a foster home for Australian Shepherds in Southern CA. I have two rescued Aussies of my own (Charlie and Angie.) For my real job, I work as a nurse at an Alzheimer's facility. I love nursing, but in my spare time I love to rescue Aussies. Most of the dogs I foster have been bailed out of a shelter or turned in by private owners for various reasons. All known history on the dog will be revealed to the new owner. The dogs that I foster live in my own home. I do not have a shelter facility.

CAN YOU HELP WITH AUSSIE RESCUE?

Foster Homes and Rescue Volunteers are urgently needed. Do you have room in your heart and/or your home for an Aussie in need? Sometimes we just don't have available space for an Aussie who is waiting for his or her forever home, and all they need is a safe environment and to be part of a family while we locate an appropriate home for them. If you think you have a little extra space or could transport a dog to his or her new foster home and would like to help an Aussie find a new forever home, please contact me at: jacinta@aussierescuesocal.com for details.

ADOPTION PROCEDURES

A completed ADOPTION APPLICATION is required before meeting the dog. Once that is approved, then we can set up a time to meet.. Please bring your children and your other dog(s), so we can make sure they are a good match for each other. There is a required DONATION for all rescues and a required ADOPTION CONTRACT. Donations help pay for out-of pocket expenses. I donate my time and emotional energy because I love this breed!
