Our Adoptable Pet List

OUR FEATURED PETS

Molly

Hi Everyone, I'm Molly - a 2 year old, stunning Shepherd/hound mix.

So,let me tell you a little about myself. I am a perfect family dog and would be great for a family with a pack leader and one who will spend time taking me out for fun, exercise, runs, walks, and also let me hang out with you in the house, I love it all. I love other pets of all kinds (dogs and horses especially - cats, birds, etc), adore kids and love to go places, like the dog park, the beach, hiking and running. I am crate trained, spayed, housebroken up to date on shots and have had obedience classes. I am very good on a leash, heel, halt, etc and I sit on command. I love to be around family, am GREAT around children, and love to play with my 6 year old niece. I get along great with other animals and want an need an owner who will be in charge. So, if you are prepared to be the pack leader, I'm ready to follow. So, are you ready for a great new fun pal? I'm waiting....

If interested in me please click here to download an adoption application.

Thank you!

News

Help4Pets does not have a shelter. We rely on our outstanding foster homes for the love and care of our animals. We are in desperate need of foster homes! If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please send us an email or visit our website for more information.

Who We Are

Help4Pets is a grass roots organization in San Diego, CA that rescues, spays and neuters unwanted pets that would otherwise be euthanized or left homeless. Our mission is to rescue and dramatically enhance the lives of abandoned and abused animals by providing community education, high quality foster care and medical attention (including spay and neuter care) for those animals in need. Working together with the community, we change the lives of these animals by matching each pet to the best possible home based on their individual needs and personality. We aim to bring them together with people to create a loving bond that lasts a lifetime. Help4Pets is a 100% volunteer run organization.

Adopting a Friend

Help4Pets is a 'virtual' shelter. All of our dogs are fostered in private homes and out of respect for our foster families' privacy, will not be available to be viewed until you have an approved application on file with us.

If you wish to be considered for a Help4Pets animal, please fill out an application from our website.

PLEASE include your full name & phone # in any correspondence with us. We receive a high volume of email & it saves time if you identify yourself along with your request.

ALL dogs/cats, including puppies/kittens, will be spayed or neutered, micropchipped and health checked prior to adoption.

Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog/cat is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the pet.

We ask for a minimum donation of $85 when adopting a cat and $150-$200 when adopting a dog. These funds go towards healthcare for the animals that we rescue.

WE DO NOT SHIP our pets as it is too stressful for them to be in the cargo area of the plane, or adopt to homes out of state.

All of our pets come with a lifetime guarantee that if at any time, for any reason, an adoption does not work out, Help4Pets will take the animal back. Lifetime homes are our ultimate goal.

Please Spay and Neuter your Pets, nothing is more important! There are many programs in San Diego to assist -- SNAP @ www.snap-sandiego.org; Department of Animal Services @ www.sddac.com and Pet Assist @ 619-544-1222. Please feel free to contact us for assistance.

Special Thanks to the Doctors at Animal Medical Center, Merchants, and Staff, that Support us. A particular thanks to "The Honest Kitchen" for their very generous donation of food. We encourage everyone to visit the Honest Kitchen at www.thehonestkitchen.com - People Food - Formulated for Pets.
