Who We Are
San Gabriel Humane is a try harder shelter, keeping the animals for as long as possible. We have a Sanctuary area where most of the owner relinquishments are housed. These pets normally have a known history to go along with them, which helps in choosing the right pet for your situation.
We also have a cat & puppy room, where most of the cats, small dogs, and puppies stay. Be sure to check in there!
Also, we have a kitten room, which is just to the left of the cat & puppy room. This is where all of the adoptable baby kittens stay!
We also offer low-cost spay-neuter, as well as vaccination clinics. Please call 626-286-1159 for more info or to make an appointment.
We are open 7 days a week for pet adoption!
Shelter hours: 8:00-5:00
Kennel hours: 10:00-4:30

Please come in & take a look.....you may leave with a brand new family member! We have a wonderful "get acquainted" room, where you can meet & visit with the dogs & cats.
How you can help!
Would you like to help out, but aren't quite ready to adopt?
There are countless ways to help! You may sponsor a pet, paying for it's boarding or spay-neuter. You may foster a pet......there are many animals that need a bit of rest & relaxation before they are made available for adoption. We are always in need of towels, blankets, newspapers, and pet food. We also need volunteers to walk the dogs! We are still in dire need of funding for our isolation ward. Please call us to get more info on how you can help!

San Gabriel Humane is located at 851 E. Grand Avenue, San Gabriel, CA, conviently off of the 10 freeway. Just exit San Gabriel Blvd, go north until you hit Grand (just past Mission Blvd), then take a right. You will see us on the left side of the street!
