Help us continue working to reduce our stray animal populations within our county. Please continue spaying and neutering throughout the remainder of the year, not just in the springtime. Don't wait, NOW is the time to get your pets altered. Let's break the chain and stop "Littering" now!!!
More GREAT NEWS!!! Shasta Animal Welfare Foundation and Abercrombie & Ellison Realty will graciously provide more $30 spay/neuter vouchers to be used for dogs AND cats adopted though our shelter. So thanks to their generosity, we will be able to offer a voucher to help defray cost the of altering for each pet adopted from our shelter.

WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN BREAK THE CHAIN OF LITTERING AND UNNECCESARY DEATH!!! Please continue helping us through your generous donations - we put your monies to work by directly assisting the animals. We attribute our success to you!!! Thank you ALL so much for helping us help them!!
Adopting a Friend
To adopt your "Friend for Life" simply come to our shelter and browse. We have a varied selection of both purebred and mixed breed individuals that are begging for attention and a loving home. Our selection varies daily, so if you don't see that special individual who tugs at your heart, not to worry, we can place you on our Desired List for Future Notification.
After selecting your "Friend", there is a $20 shelter fee, a vaccination fee of $5 each, and if the animal is unaltered, you make arrangements at a local Vet for it to be altered. We will deliver the animal to your chosen Vet, you pay, and pick up the animal directly from the Vet after altering. For more details or any questions, please feel free to contact us. Our goal is a loving, responsible home for all.
In addition to all the beautiful dogs and cats, on occasion we have small pocket pets and livestock that are looking for new homes. Please check out some of the animals we have available on the web!!!
FOSTER PROGRAM: The pets at the shelter are available for fostering. There are so many wonderful dogs and cats who could benefit from spending time in a home environment and getting some one-on-one attention. Call, come in, or email us for the details!
