November is Adopt a Senior Dog Month!
Join us and Petfinder.com as we celebrate Adopt a Senior Pet month and encourage you to consider bringing an older friend into your family. These old timers may not have that puppy play drive but they are much wiser, potty in the right place, don’t host a party when mom and dad are gone for the day, and are great at keeping you company on the couch or during a leisurely stroll now that you may not be a teenager anymore either!

Visit us at TLC Simi Pet (next to Trader Joe's in the Target Shopping Center off of Sycamore), 2975 Cochran Street, Suite D, Simi Valley, CA 93065 Phone: 805-955-9797, every Sunday from 11AM to 3PM (except holidays and select Sundays- we will not be holding an adoption event on February 5th!) All adoption event times are approximates. Our rescue is run by volunteers and thus our appearances are based on the time that can be donated. If you are interested in seeing a specific animal e-mail us, via the addresses that appear below, ahead of the adoption event and we will schedule to bring them. Due to the limited space at PetSmart, we cannot bring all animals available for adoption.
CAT ADOPTIONS
Our Cats are available and ready to go home with you! We have a Mobile Adoption for our cats where we will come to you to show them and do any necessary paperwork! Just give us a call at (805) 583-3037 or email fostermommie@att.net and let us know which ones you would like to see! Make sure to ask for Denise!
WHO WE ARE
Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Ventura County, PSR focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well remote locations where their families have dumped them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pet. Most of our animals are in foster homes until 'lifelong' homes can be found for them. Our volunteer fosters help us to socialize, train and rehabilitate these wonderful animals so that they can be better members of your family once placed.

ADOPTION FEES
Adoption fees go to support our spay and neuter program, micro chipping, vaccinations and other medical services, shelter rescue fees as well as for food for all our animals. Through our adoption fees, volunteers and donations, we are saving the animals one life at a time! Be sure to earmark your donation DOG or CAT.
VOLUNTEERING & DONATIONS
Anyone interested in animal welfare is encouraged to join us. PSR would love to have you as a volunteer and it's a great way to help the community and most of all - the animals!
There are many ways to volunteer such as donating
food, leashes,
blankets and toys

and / or monetary donations.
Monetary donations go directly towards the care of the animals AND ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!! If you would like to assist us with the medical needs or donate to a specific animal in our care or type of animals in our care, then please note the name of the animal or 'for cats or for dogs' on your check!
