Tex is a very mellow lap type cat. He loves his scratches and human companions, but he also likes to be king of his domain! He comes off a little shy at first, but once he warms up he is as loyal as a dog...and what a handsome stud he is! Who We Are
Mark's Rescue is a no-kill animal rescue that is organized for the prevention of cruelty to animals and pet overpopulation. Our main focus is the rescue and care of abused and abandoned animals.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption process is simple! We ask that you come and visit the Cat, Dog, or Kittens that you are interested in and then fill out an application. We will then review the application and make sure that we have a match in what you are looking for and what we know about the animal. We will then bring the animal to you and do a brief home inspection to ensure the animals safety and notify you of any potential escape paths or hazards that we feel might affect the animal.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
Dogs $150.00
Adult Cats: $25.00
Kittens: $75.00

Why we charge an adoption fee!
Your adoption fees help us to offset our operating cost. We make sure that all of our animals are spayed or neutered, current on their shots, wormed and current on flea control. All of our cats and kittens are tested for Feline Aids and Leukemia.
