Mimi (black) and Tama (white) have a DESPERATE situation. Their owner has been transfered to Japan- leaving the end of December, and the kitties can't go along. These two girls are very mellow and will be gentle companions for the lucky person who adopts them. They are older kitties, about 13 yrs., but are in excellent health. They love personal attention, and kitty conversations. These girls want to stay together.
There are never enough foster homes for all of the kitties in need. If

Who We Are
Marin Cat Connection is dedicated to cat rescue, adoptions and
education. We operate an extensive Adoption Program to help find caring
homes for homeless cats and kittens. Before our cats are available for
adoption, they undergo a thorough exam with a veterinarian, are tested,
spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and receive any additional care so that
they will be healthy when they go to their new home. All of our kitties
are fostered by our volunteers, so we can provide you with extensive
information about their personalities. We are grateful that you are
interested in giving a cat a home, and we care about your wishes and
expectations regarding your new "family member".
Adopting a friend
Adopting a kitty is fun, and at the same time, very important... it's a
lifelong commitment. An application is given to potential adopters
asking some basic questions, such as types/ages of pets already in the
home. To provide continuity for the kitty, the foster mom will deliver
the kitty to its new home. To help defray the cost of the veterinary
care our cats receive before they are available for adoption, we ask an
adoption fee of $115 per cat.
