Hooray For Our Long Timers!
...only a few of our latest adoptees who found their happy homes

It's been a great start to 2012 for the PAF dogs.  PAF is blessed to have some of its long timers find happy homes in January of 2012.  Some were special needs, some seniors, but one thing for sure, they were all perfect in their own ways.

Our sincere thanks to all the adopters who opened their hearts and their homes to the new additions, and to our supporters for making it all possible.

baby pit in need of medical

Please consider donating towards his medical expenses, and for the many others who end up at our door steps. Thank you!

Baby Pit was recently found outside our kennel, left in a shopping cart and out in the cold. He appeared malnourished, dehydrated, and foaming in the mouth.  After rushing him to the emergency vet, he was diagnosed with the Parvo virus. Needless to say, he needed extensive medical care, and will be needing many follow up visits.
*1-15-12 Update: Baby Pit is on his way to recovery, and will be placed for adoption as soon as he is ready.

Medical Lifeline
More and more pets are being abandoned by owners, and every single one coming through our doors is in need of some type of medical care. Please consider donating to help us ease their pain, and save more lives. Thank You!

On the average, our facility houses around 175 dogs and 75 cats, of all sizes, ages and breeds.

paw ADOPTION INFO

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated (rabies if specified), and micro-chipped. All pets are provided with a personalized tag and collar. We are placing what we believe to be a healthy pet. If the situation proves to be otherwise, we will assist with the health care, provided through our own veterinarian, for the first 30 days after adoption, and ONLY for a condition that the animal had already contracted before he/she left our facility. If the adoption does not work out for any reason, we ask that the animal be returned ONLY to Pet Adoption Fund. Our adoptions are subject to approval, adoption fee (varies with breed-age-size), and a home-check.
You must be over the age of 21 to complete an adoption application & contract. A valid California ID is required for all adoptions.

paw DONATIONS

Pet Adoption Fund is a non-profit organization, with a 501 (c) status. We rely solely on donations. Your generosity is what keeps us alive, and able to rescue and care for many abused and abandoned dogs and cats. In most cases, extensive medical treatments are required in addition to the routine spay-neuter, vet care, grooming & training expenses. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you so much for your contributions.
