Siamese-Oriental Associated Rescue Ring
Mission Statement:
"To provide individuals and organizations involved in Siamese and Oriental breed rescues the opportunity to come together as one Internet presence. Each of our members is a separate entity, and yet we are united in our one purpose: To rescue the unwanted and homeless Siamese and Oriental cats in our communities, foster them in caring and safe environments, and find them permanent, loving homes."
SOARR was started in December, 2001 as a place for organizations and private parties who rescue Siamese and Oriental breed cats to increase exposure to their cats in rescue. Many SOARR members are individuals who rescue privately and may not have their own web sites to list their foster kitties on. That is what SOARR is here for, to make sure that as many potential adoptive families as possible see our kitties. If they find one of our members, they find all of us, and the chance that someone will have the perfect companion for them is that much greater.
If you are involved in rescue or interested in becoming a foster parent for one of our members, we urge you to join our loving family of kitty rescuers. Any and all are welcome, regardless of location, organizational status, or frequency of rescue work. Breeders who rescue are most certainly welcome as well, although we ask that you keep your links to this site restricted to your rescue pages. If you do not currently have rescues available, simply state that on your rescue page above the site ring banner.
And if you have come looking for that perfect lifetime companion, you can find no better friend than the one in the strong voice and warm rubs of a Siamese or Oriental kitty!
