Our Featured Pet...
Our featured pet as well as other cats, kittens and a book with profiles of dogs* and puppies* available, can be viewed at the following locations and hours:Saturdays: Pet Food Express, Lone Tree Way, in Slatten Ranch Shopping Center, Antioch. 12:00 noon - 3:00 P.M.
Sundays: PETsMART, 4655 Century Blvd.,Pittsburg 12:00 noon - 3:00 P.M.
Dogs are not brought to the above locations, however you may make an appointment to meet any of our dogs on weekends or weekdays by sending an email to: joysdogs@gmail.com, or calling: 925 473-4642.
We do not allow adoptions out of our local area or as gifts.
Who We Are
H.A.L.O. is the East Contra Costa County Homeless Animals' Lifeline Organization. We are a nonprofit, all volunteer, 501c charitable organization who assists dogs, cats and their owners, in Eastern Contra Costa County.All of our rescued animals are fostered in volunteer's private homes. We are not a shelter.

Donations and Volunteers We are always looking for volunteers to foster cats and dogs. H.A.L.O. provides food and medical care for fostered animals as needed.Unable to foster? We need volunteers to help with projects and fund raising events. Bring your skills to our Organization -- we want YOU!
Adopting a Friend
All of H.A.L.O.'s dogs and cats available for adoptions have been spayed or neutered and up to date on their vaccinations.Cats are feline leukemia tested.
Dogs receive a complete check by a veterinarian.
The tax deductible donation which helps pay for the care of these animals prior to adoption is:
Cats/Kittens: $100
Dogs/Puppies: $125.00 to $300.00
