We are a national organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing American Bulldogs, Rare Mastiffs and Bulldog Breeds (and we are proud to be the only Tosa Inu rescue in the world!). Most of the dogs are rescued from shelters on the day they are scheduled to be euthanized. We're they're last hope for a chance to find a loving home. Each one of our rescues gets obedience training 2-3 times a week and gets loving each and every day! This makes for a much better family member for YOU, the adopter.

We need foster homes for dogs in rescue. Ideally, we want to have all of the available dogs in foster homes before they are adopted. Unfortunately, most are housed in a kennel environment because we don't have enough foster homes. Please open your home to a dog in need.
Operation K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE. We are 100% volunteer based, so we are also in need of financial support for our rescue program. Although we do get a small amount of funding from our adoption donations, our vet bills, food, kennel fees, collars/leashes, blankets, dog houses and administrative expenses add up to more than we receive. If you can find it in your heart to donate to our rescue program, we would greatly appreciate it!
We are not a shelter and do not have our own boarding facility. Our dogs are shown by appointment only because most are housed at various foster homes. Sorry, but we cannot hold dogs for adopters. Applications are handled in the order they are received. If you see a dog you are interested in, please fill out an adoption application on www.operationk9rescue.com right away.
We do not ship dogs, but are willing to adopt dogs out of state if within driving distance for our volunteers to do the required home check and interview. You must be willing to drive to Southern California to meet the dog before adopting.
