Our Mission
Our mission to relieve the suffering of cats and kittens living on the streets of Los Angeles, to help prevent further unwanted births by implementing TNR (trap, neuter and return), to encourage and inspire the public to be involved in efforts to reduce over population. We educate, loan traps, teach humane trapping techniques and provide information on low-cost and free spay/neuter clinics. We adopt kitties into loving homes.
Adoption Policy
Save A Kitty, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) kitty rescue. Our adoption process is as follows: We require a completed application, a home check, and an adoption fee (with the amount depending upon the kitty). We will also discount the adoption fee, if an individual adopts 2 kitties at the same time. All of our kitties have been quarantined for a minimum of 15 days, had their shots, been tested for FIV/FELV, given parasite treatment, and will be spayed/neutered before being placed into their forever home.
