.Who We Are
In Latin the name "Amanda" means worthy of being loved.
Amanda Foundation is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from death
row in the pounds of Los Angeles, and then finding them loving new homes.
Through educating the public to "recyle' the love at the pounds and
to spay and neuter their pets our goal is to end the problem of pet overpopulation in the United States.
Adopting a Friend
Call us so we can personally counsel you to help you choose the right pet
for your lifestyle. We can return your call at anytime that is convenient to you.
We do not adopt our orphans out of state.
Volunteering and Donations
We are open 365 days a year and always are in need of volunteers to either
work hands on with our furbabies, or to help with fund raising.

We also send out personalized gift cards with an actual photograph of a
dog or cat currently in our care.

We are open everyday of the year and do everything by appointment so
