Who We Are
Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation was created in 1991 by Tony and Elaine La Russa to address the needs of companion animals. Their vision for ARF is an organization that can not only aid abandoned and homeless animals, but also promote the concept that people's lives can be enhanced by strengthening the bonds between humans and animals. With these intertwined goals as the guiding principles, and an intention to become a national as well as local leader, ARF has designed progressive programs for many populations including abused children, the elderly, victims of violence and others who can benefit from the healing contact of animals.
Adopting a friend
We are committed to placing animals in loving, responsible and permanent homes. Adoption fees include spay or neuter, microchip, FeLV/FIV testing (for cats) and appropriate vaccinations.
Adoption fees are:
Dog: $225 - includes one 7-week training class
Puppy under 20 weeks: $250 - includes one 7-week training class
Cat: $50
Kitten under 6 months: $125
Come Visit Us!
We always have cute and cuddly, loving pets of all sizes, colors and ages available for adoption at ARF's adoption sites. Trained adoption counselors are always on hand to help you make the best selection when choosing your furry new friend.
