San Diego Poodle Club Rescue is the not for profit rescue arm of the San Diego Poodle Club.
We do not operate a shelter. Our dogs are housed in foster homes throughout San DIego County. If you would like to volunteer as a foster parent or assisting in the care or transportation of our dogs, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with "volunteer" in the subject line.
Our dogs are all spayed and/or neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and evaluated based on information we get from the previous owners, if available, and/or observation of the dog and its behavior so that we can make the best match possible and avoid serial rehoming. If you are interested in a dog or puppy and we don't feel that it's a good match, we will let you know that and will ask that you wait for another dog. Please understand that this is not a reflection on you but just an effort to match you with the appropriate pet so that you can have many happy years together in the future.
Adoption fees are generally around $350 but depend on the age and health status of the dog and other considerations which will be considered on a case by case basis.
