Our Mission
Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC) provides sanctuary, shelter, medical care, and pet adoption services for the abandoned, lost, and surrendered citizen-animals of the Santa Paula community. SPARC is a resource in providing pet owner education, reuniting lost animals with their families and finding the homeless pets new homes.
SPARC is a non-profit 501(c)3 and is proud to be the one of the first truly no kill shelters in Ventura County. We shine a beacon for other communities because we are a proven model of success. We put our no-kill philosophy into practice daily as we meet the urgent needs of so many of the animals that come through our doors. Since its founding in June of 2012, SPARC continues to succeed because we are committed to giving every animal a second chance.
